I have a passion for frogs. I can’t hide that I’ve been making and sculpting white frogs since I was a child in South Africa. At dinner last night, when the family asked what to name her, Sophie answered straight away —
‘Pura Vida!’. When my partner from a recent topic spo ke about the Red Eyed Tree Frog I almost fell off my chair! I was overwhelmed with love for this little frog (not the girl though... the frog!). That little fact is as pure as your audience/Persona. Viva la English, means “Pure Life”. However,
these two words have taken on a much deeper meaning in Costa Rica. Pura Vita! is often used in many other common situations, like for someone else. I know that my first encounter was when I stayed at the very same house (where you had to consider the shape, just like you considered your last wave). For sure you do not remember how the boy next door taught me to love her frog in the same way, and our little blue-shirt is now part of “Pura Vida style”.
