Wings of power
Forthcoming exhibition
Overview
Wings of Power is the first series created by Ludmilla Radchenko in Dubai and marks the beginning of a new chapter — geographically, artistically, and personally. The works were born from a year of profound transformation initiated by the artist’s journey to Nepal, where inner awareness and self-observation became central to her practice.
At the core of the series lies a powerful duality. The recurring animal figures embody the Seven Deadly Sins — not as moral judgment, but as raw human forces: instinct, desire, fear, excess, anger, pride, and inertia. These elements represent what lives in the body, in impulse and survival. Opposing them are the Wings — symbols not of escape, but of awareness, elevation, and transformation. They bring hidden impulses into the light, allowing them to be revealed, understood, and ultimately transformed.
Radchenko’s visual language combines painting, collage, symbolism, and layered cultural references, creating compositions that are bold, ironic, and emotionally charged — a practice rooted in her long-standing exploration of identity and human nature. In Wings of Power, each artwork becomes a moment of tension between falling and rising, instinct and consciousness, shadow and growth.
This series is ultimately about self-observation: the courage to look at one’s own shadows and the strength to grow wings from them. Created in Dubai, born from Nepal, and shaped by a year of inner evolution, Wings of Power introduces a renewed artistic vision where vulnerability becomes strength and transformation becomes the central act.
