This edition of the DAP Festival has just concluded, leaving an indelible mark on all who attended. The event, a grand celebration of culture, dance, and music, brought together a vibrant community of artists and enthusiasts.
The festival reached its spectacular conclusion on Saturday with a mesmerizing choreography that transported the audience into an ethereal universe. In this magical realm, bodies fluidly danced and harmonized with the striking sculpture titled "Ghost," a remarkable work created by the talented artist Flavio Lucchini. This stunning piece was generously provided by the FLA FlavioLucchiniArt Museum, adding a unique and captivating element to the performance.
Flavio Lucchini's sculpture served as a profound source of inspiration for the choreography designed by the talented dancers PeiJu Chien-Pott and Thomas Johansen.
The sculpture, which resembles a ghost from an ephemeral past, evoked a sense of nostalgia and forgotten memories. It symbolized the fleeting memory of a woman who once wore the dress depicted in the sculpture, now lost in the sands of time, residing elsewhere in the vast expanse of history.
