After the "Continuación" in marble that since 2008 stands out at the center of the roundabout between the Aurelia and via Unità d'Italia, another work by Costa Rican artist Jorge Jiménez Martínez, aka Deredia, embellishes the municipal area. It is "Evolución", the largest sculpture ever made by the artist who has long been fond of Little Athens. The work, in bronze, was forged at the "Mariani" foundry in Pietrasanta and since yesterday morning has been located in Piazza XXIV Maggio, in Tonfano. In this way, the widespread exhibition "Homage to the artisans" is further enriched, set up along the renamed "via dell’arte" which from the central Via Versilia leads to the top of the pier in the marinella hamlet.
