Giuseppe Maiorana
Giuseppe Maiorana, born in Palermo in 1971, is a sculptor who has dedicated his life to creating artworks that reflect his deep connection with nature and the animal world. After earning a degree in economics and working for several years in the financial sector both in Italy and abroad, Maiorana chose to follow his passion for art by moving to Versilia and focusing on sculpture in bronze and marble.
His works, inspired by his experiences of travel, meditation, and observation of life, conceal archetypes and universal symbols, bringing to light the ancient bond between man and nature. With projects like "Primitives" and "Theorein," Maiorana explores the cycle of life and the beauty of biodiversity, celebrating the complexity and wonder of animal species.
Maiorana's sculptures reflect his deep admiration for the animal kingdom, showing a strong synthesis and a primitive vision of nature that goes beyond mere naturalistic representation. His works have been exhibited in various international shows, receiving praise and recognition for their beauty and spirituality.
Giuseppe Maiorana continues to explore the connection between human beings and the natural world through his art, conveying a message of respect, admiration, and conservation of life on Earth. His work remains permanently displayed at the Museo dei Bozzetti in Pietrasanta, while his exhibitions have brought his artistic vision worldwide, from France to the Principality of Monaco, from Luxembourg to Spain.
