Resilient Intuition
Pablo Dana an Swiss and Italian artist exhibits “Resilient Intuition” for the first time to the public this March at Oblong Contemporary Gallery. The title is concluded by the idea that creations arise from the very depths of our beings and expressed spontaneously. Coupling intuitiveness and spontaneity, his works express a channel to explore sarcasm with the materialistic world with our memories and phantasm.
From the hectic day to day life, Pablo chooses to ‘escape’ by creating and painting. Since lockdown, Pablo has been transforming his work into a substantially figurative line. He draws inspiration from multiple encounters, whether it be magazines, books or catalogues. Some of his paintings count an impressive over 600 finely cut images re-ordered to give birth to a new piece of art making it truly his own.
He plays with epoxy resins, clear glue and acrylic to create tri-dimensional structures.
