Royal Grammar School’s Children's Art Exhibition

The Royal Grammar School (RGS) is set to host a spectacular Children's Art Exhibition in collaboration with the Dynowish Foundation at the Oblong Contemporary Gallery. This event promises to be a celebration of creativity, talent, and the remarkable achievements of RGS students in the realms of art, sculpture, and pottery. 
 

Event Details

Scheduled for Friday, 15th March, the venue for the exhibition is the Oblong Contemporary Gallery on Bluewaters Island. The chosen theme for the artworks is 'dreams', aligning with Dynowish Foundation's focus on the importance of nurturing children's aspirations. Students have poured their creativity into different artworks and pottery pieces, each reflecting their unique perspectives on 'Aspiration and Dreams.'

  1. Q&A Sessions and Notable Guests:

    • The event will feature Q&A sessions with the young artists, providing a platform for them to discuss their inspiration and creative process.
    • Paola Myriam Visconti and Antonio Signorini, co-founders of the Dynowish Foundation, will share insights during the event. Paola Myriam Visconti is the author of the Dynowish book series, while Antonio Signorini is a renowned sculptor.
  2. Dynowish Award:
    • An exciting highlight is the Dynowish Award, recognizing young artists who have demonstrated exceptional creativity in their artwork. This award aims to encourage children to dream big and express those dreams through their art.
  3. Charitable Initiative:
    • All children's artworks will be available for sale during the event, with proceeds directly supporting Fondazione Istituto degli Innocenti, a charitable institution dedicated to protecting children for over 600 years.
    • The Dynowish Foundation actively collaborates with charities worldwide, emphasizing RGS's commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
  4. QR Code Donation:
    • Parents and supporters can contribute to the cause by donating to the Dynowish Foundation via a QR code, with all proceeds going towards supporting Fondazione Istituto degli Innocenti.
