Solomon Chopsticks is a luminous sculpture made of Murano glass, created using the lost-wax technique, traditionally employed in bronze casting and mastered today by only a few glass artisans. This choice made it possible to approach Murano glass from a sculptural perspective rarely explored within the landscape of contemporary art.

Rather than adapting the design to the limitations of the material, technical mastery and inno vative research pushed beyond those boundaries, giving rise to a work of extraordinary com plexity. The glass is treated as if it were bronze, fully confronting the challenge posed by its fragility and unpredictability.

The sculpture develops through a dynamic composition marked by abrupt variations in thi ckness and by sharp, intersecting angles that weave together into a bold structural form. The dialogue between slender elements and thicker masses, together with the contrast between rigorous and fluid transitions, lies at the core of its complex realization, infusing the work with movement and tension.

Each element is further unified by a handcrafted metal mounting, executed with millimetric pre cision, which embraces the glass in an elegant and structural way—like a jewel.
