Lola Sergounine
Overview
Lola Sergounine is a Georgian-born multidisciplinary artist whose creative path bridges Eastern heritage and global artistic influence. Born in Tbilisi in 1987, she studied Art Law at the University of Georgia and later refined her technique through private classes with Kazakh artist Bakhyt Bapishev in Paris and Tokyo, shaping her unique visual voice.
Lola’s work resists linear interpretation. With a philosophy that “the artist creates, and the viewer interprets,” her art invites introspection, emotional honesty, and aesthetic freedom. Her practice blends structure with spontaneity, offering layered works that reflect both personal and cultural chaos.
She has exhibited in major cities such as London, Venice, Rome, and Tbilisi, and her work is part of private collections across Europe and the Middle East. Lola was also featured in Artleove Magazine (Issue 01/23) with the interview In Control of the Chaos: A Sit-Down with Lolita Papava, highlighting her rising international presence.
